Steps on how to make a character for your story/book:

1. Think about how they look (e.g. ocean blue eyes, wavy blonde hair, great dress sense). If they are an evil character then they would look different to a good character. 

2. Personality is a key element to a character. If the hero is a very courageous person then they are different to a scared person.

3. Every character needs a name, whether they are an animal, human or monster! Choosing a suitable name is vital for a character so make sure it suits them.
